It's really all about organization. If you have the right tools it's so easy to get started. Forget about those small coupon organizers, you are constantly digging through them trying to find what you need and you end up getting frustrated and stop using your coupons. I use a 3 ring binder (2" or 3" thick) and put my coupons in photo insert sheets. I then buy the pack of tab labels sheets and separate the coupons. I carry this book in every store I go in because you never know when you might find a great deal and it's so easy to see all your coupons.
And if your really crafty like my neighbor Karen, you can do a fancy cover for your book!
I label my tabs the following:
Air Freshners
Baking
Baby
Beverages
Breakfast items
Candy
Canned foods
Coffee/tea
Deodorant
Frozen foods
Hairproducts
Laundry
Lotion
Makeup
Meats
Paper products
Pets
Shaving products
Snacks
Toothpaste
Misc.
I try to be really specific so I always can find a coupon right away.
